Thank you for visiting my website I hope you find all the information you need and welcome to Wet Nose and Cosy Toes pet services.
Firstly I’d like to introduce myself to you, my name is Jess and I have been working within the animal industry for most of my life. Born on a smallholding I was catching chickens and milking goats from a very young age and I am positive this start in life influenced my career decisions.
At the age of 16 I began the journey which has ultimately led me to where I am just now. I completed a 2 year qualification in animal management thereafter being recruited by the college to stay on and teach the next students all I had learned. At 19 I was offered the opportunity to train and qualify as a veterinary nurse and loved every second of this! I spent nearly 10 years as a qualified Veterinary nurse and specialised in emergency and critical care nursing working in animal emergency hospitals across the country.
After having my children I took a career break and the idea of Wet Nose and Cosy toes was born. I am now in my 30’s and have decided the time has come to work for myself and use my skills and expertise to help fellow pet owners in our communities.
At Wet Nose and Cosy toes I aim to provide a variety of much needed services to the community for our furry friends. I offer a home from home boarding service, solo dog walking, home pet visits and a mobile veterinary nurse clinic.

Home Boarding
A home from home boarding experience, no stressful kennels with lots of barking dogs. A quiet , relaxed home environment where your dog gets treated like one of the family
Pricing Per Day :
Small Dogs (up to 10kg) From £25
Med Dogs (Up to 20kg) From £30
Large Dogs (20kg +) From £35
2 Dogs from same household £40
Dog walking
One to one walks especially designed for those dogs who cannot attend a large group walk environment. Or for those owners who would prefer their dogs walked independently. I will take your dog out for up to an hour and focus solely on them and their needs
1-2 walks a week
30min solo walk £15 per walk
60min solo Walk £22 per walk
3 walks a week
60min solo walk £20 Per walk
4 or more walks a week
60min solo walk £18 per walk
Pet sitting / home visits
I will come to your house during the day and keep your pets company whether your away at work for the day or going on holiday I can pop in for a visit and provide your pet with the attention they require. I can let out your puppy I change your cats litter tray , feed the hamsters or clean out the chickens ! These visits will vary in time depending on your requirements.

Mobile Veterinary Nurse Clinics
Taking the stress of the vets away! I will attend your home and care for your animal where they feel most at ease. Nail clips , tooth brushing , anal glands, medications, bandage changes , nutrition advice . I’m here to work with you to improve the health and wellbeing of your pets .
Price list:
Nail Clip: £15 for first pet £5 for each additional same household pet at time of appointment
Anal Gland Expression: £20 for first pet £10 each additional household pet there after
Medication administration: POA
Ear Clean: £15
Dressing/ Bandage changes: POA - Bandage material supplied by owner
Wound clean and Initial dressing application £25 - Serious injury's must be seen by vet
Nutrition consultation: £20
Puppy/Kitten health check including nail clip: £20
Tick Removal: £10
Basic coat brush and freshen up: £20
De-mat: POA
Additional services not currently listed can be discussed.
Appointments are priced for 30mins an additional appointment fee of £10 will be added should this time be exceeded on veterinary nurse discretion.
